Happy New Year! I know that by the time you receive this newsletter it will be 2026. I am in the process of starting a First Communion, and Confirmation class. If you wish to have your child attend, please contact me. I would also like to thank each and every one of you that remembered Lawrence and I with a Christmas card or gift! They are all very much appreciated. Thank you also for just being a blessing to us. You have welcomed us warmly and we love each and every one of you. Thank you. My wish, my prayer, is for all of you to have a blessed 2026. This past year some of you have been blessed with a growing family or the loss of a loved one. Whether your family has grown or shrunk, it is all part of our loving God’s plan. It’s easy to be joyful when a child is born or when a marriage happens, it’s not so easy to be joyful when a loved one passes. We are left behind to mourn and to learn how to navigate these waters that we now have to tread, sometimes alone. Just be assured that God is still with you, and He will carry you through the tough times. It is exactly in times of sorrow when we should lean on Him. God also wants us to come to Him in joy! When a joyous occasion happens we should shout from the treetops that God is good! We just celebrated the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ. Let us be truly thankful, and to remind ourselves that He is the true light of our lives. His light will guide us through the darkness of life’s troubles, and stumbling blocks. We just need to reach out, and remain steadfast in our belief that He knows what is best for all of us. Remember we say it in the Lord’s prayer. “Thy will be done, on earth, as it is in heaven.” God’s Blessings to you all for a healthy and prosperous New Year.
